Shelly Bern has been a CPA for 30 years in the Los Angeles area. He is associated with many professional and charitable organizations: Kiwanis, San Fernando Counseling Center, Valley Cultural Center, Woodland Hills Theater, The Music Unlocks Success In Children, Woodland Hills Chamber of Commerce


Pat Goldstein spent her early years in a major telephone company which provided her with extensive organizational training and personal development. For the next 25 years, she assisted her husband with enhanced programs and office procedures to develop and grow a small printing business. After 15 years Pat continues to work in a nonprofit volunteer counseling center as a therapist and consultant for office systems, computer programming and management of ongoing business procedures. For many years Pat has been an officer and volunteer in the Kiwanis Club of Warner Center and The M.U.S.I.C. Foundation.
Linda Fermoyle Rice is a trial lawyer with more than 30 years of litigation experience. She graduated with a B.A. in English with Honors from California State University Northridge and attended Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. She is a partner with the law firm of Rice & Bloomfield, LLP, in Woodland Hills, which handles wrongful death, personal injury, medical negligence, employment and bad faith lawsuits. She is a member of the Board of Governors for the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles and a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Linda is active in community service. She is a founding member of Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Care, a non-profit charitable organization funded by trial lawyers. She served as KCWC’s Charter President (1991-1992) and was Lieutenant Governor (1998-1999) for the Division of which her Club is a part. Linda is currently finishing her second term as KCWC Club President. She is also currently a Board member and Secretary for The M.U.S.I.C. Foundation.


Kathleen Grantham began teaching in March of 1975 in Monrovia Unified School District. She has worked with young children and their families in various educational capacities ever since. She began teaching kindergarten at Reseda Elementary in September 1998. At Reseda Elementary School, Kathleen is coordinator of the Gifted and Talented Education program, Grade Level Chair for second grade, chair of the school's "Green" team, and representative on the M.U.S.I.C. Foundation Board. She attended U.C. Davis and Cal State University, Los Angeles majoring in Child Development. She holds Early Childhood Specialist and a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential for the State of California. She also has a certificate for bilingual public service from Cal State University, Dominguez Hills.
Willy Hostettler graduated with an MS Degree in Electronic Engineering from the College of Technology Zurich Switzerland, and an Executive MBA from UC Irvine. He retired from Ronan Engineering Co. Warner Center Woodland Hills as Executive VP & General Manager, VP Engineering, VP Finance. Currently he is Secretary/Director of Martinez Hostettler, Design & Construction in Pasadena. Currently he volunteers as the Treasurer for The M.U.S.I.C Foundation and the Kiwanis Club of Warner Center Foundation Inc.


Kristin Thibedeau is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California for more than 38 years. In 1969 Kristen ran a summer teen program for 800 teens in North Chicago. In 1983 she organizes and ran Fun Learning After School Hours (FLASH) an after school program that gave classes in Science, French, Dramatics, etc. that was not available in regular school. In 1987, with 5 other women organized the Redlands Educational Partnership Foundation to supply additional funds to schools. As Vice President she raised $100,000.00 for SATTOS (Science and Technology To Our Students) from a variety of sources. This program is continuing to run after 20 years raising 1 million dollars a year. In 2005, she founded The Music Unlocks Success In Children Foundation to bring music education to Elementary Schools. As fundraiser and executive director she directs the M.U.S.I.C program in a number of LAUSD based elementary schools utilizing the curriculum of Education Through Music (a New York Program serving 2000+ students).
The M.U.S.I.C Foundation forms partnerships with San Fernando Valley schools to motivate children through music education to be better students. Her vision: The key to an effective country is to invest in children at an early age.
Robyn Lutsky is a recently retired education professional. She currently holds three valid California teaching credentials and has most recently served as Founder/Director of three Los Angeles nonpublic schools, schools providing specialized services to students with a range of learning disabilities and significant emotionally-based behavioral disorders
For 25-plus years, Robyn served as a teacher, administrator and policy maker, creating and implementing systems that would aid children with a wide range of learning strengths and weaknesses to reach their cognitive and affective potentials. She got a government book grant to begin a school library...and won 27 commendations from the state of California for the effectiveness of her program and her vision.


Vic Fera is a Designer / Illustrator honors graduate of the highly regarded Art Center College Of Design, Pasadena, CA. His training there covered a variety of design disciplines. These range from the design of consumer products to brand and environmental graphics to concept and architectural visualization.
A native of Southern California, Kjrste Hillig attended Chapman University (Orange, CA) where she received a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and Vocal Performance. She then attended the Manhattan School of Music (New York City, NY). While at MSM, she was a member of the Opera Studio and the Opera Outreach Program. While living in New York City, she worked as a Teaching Artist and Associate Staff Developer for Education Through Music ("ETM") teaching keyboard and general music to grades K-6.
Since returning to California, she has joined the staff of the M.U.S.I.C Foundation, where she is currently teaching students all K-3rd grade students at Reseda Elementary School


Kathleen Pelaez holds a B.A. in Music from California Polytechnic State University- San Luis Obispo and a M.M. in Voice from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. She is an operatic Soprano trained in the Bel Canto tradition. She received her California teaching credential in 2005.
Like her father and his father before him, Kathleen taught music for the Los Angeles Unified School District. She is an advocate for comprehensive music education in all public schools and has a special interest in music education for special needs students and
English language learners.
Megan Briones earned a B.F.A. from Boston Conservatory of Music, Dance and Theater as a Musical Theater major with minors in Voice and Dance. She has lived in New York City, Stuttgart, Germany and London as well as travelling all over the world touring with various musical theater productions before settling here in LA 4 years ago. She lives in Encino with her husband and 2 children and is currently a working actor, singer and voice over artist, performing in local musical theater productions and with her Andrews Sisters style group "Swing Dames" among other things. She is also a Real Estate professional
