The Music Foundation

Since 1995, hundreds of students from grades K–5 have been taking part in a specifically created music education program. It was designed to teach children to recognize musical notes, understand and duplicate rhythms, and play patterns on a keyboard...creating music! With scientific proof that Music Unlocks Success in Children, this program has become a viable source in educating our children. The MUSIC Foundation supports that program for the students of Southern California Public Schools.

• To integrate the music curriculum with classroom learning.
• To provide every child with the opportunity to make academic advancements through music study.
• To educate and support teachers so that they can utilize music in their daily teaching.
• To foster a lifelong love of music.
